2025 -2026 CLUB

VOLLEYBALL SEASON

Information

Tryouts will run for the 2025-2026 Club Season starting September 14th, 2025. Details for all age groups are listed below.

Tryouts will consist of 2 evaluation sessions.
Athletes are encouraged to attend both sessions.
Upon completion of tryout evaluations, Vertical Limit coaches and club staff will contact successful athletes with an offer to join Vertical Limit Volleyball Club for the season.

All athletes must register with Volleyball Alberta as a 2026 Youth Development Player prior to tryouts. There is a small fee to register. Please go to Volleyball Alberta, Registration, Membership Registration and create sign up as a 2026 Youth Development Player-Tryouts. https://canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/registration/member-registration/club/12526 Every athlete will be given a 8 digit Member ID that is required prior to tryouts


LOI (letter of intent)

Volleyball Alberta guidelines state an offer (LOI) must be honoured by the club for a MINIMUM 48 hours. This means that athletes have 48 hours from the time the offer was given to accept or decline. They can even request an extension if they require more time to make their decision.

🏐 An Important Note About Our Tryouts – Please Read 


With multiple volleyball clubs in our community, we understand that athletes have choices and we support families in finding the program that’s the right fit.

But with so many tryouts packed into a short time, we also know this process can be physically and mentally exhausting for athletes. That’s why we encourage families to carefully consider their options and choose their top 3 clubs to try out for rather than attending every session.

At Vertical Limit, we want to give our full attention to the athletes who are excited to be here, who believe this is where they’ll grow, compete, and belong.

We’d love to be your number one choice.
If we are, bring your best to tryouts, and we’ll do the same.
If we’re lower on your list, we respectfully ask that you do not attend our tryout and instead leave that spot for an athlete who truly wants to be part of the VLVC family.

This ensures our coaches can focus fully on those who are committed, and that every athlete has the best possible experience during this important process.
